I have just been stopped by the police for weaving my car from side to side. Maybe that "Use Both Lanes" sign actually meant that I should have driven in the middle of the road, straddling the white line.

There's a sign outside our Tesco advertising 'deep trolleys' but I've never yet had the courage to ask one of them why it's there.

I wrote to complain to the makers of of those plasticy laundry devices (tabs?) and their regular advice to "Keep away from Children". Unfortunately children are in such quantity that one can't avoid them.

Those yellow roadworks signs saying "Advanced Warning": Are they superior in any way to an advance warning?

Or does it mean they are a mile or so further back then normal warnings
