This rhododendron has flowered a month early, which is unusual. But what is more unusual (nay, unbelievable) is its height.... 50 metres!

Really? 50m? Are they serious? We've got conifers around 15m, and they look tall. Our neighbour has conifers at 20m and they look huge. But this rhododendron is 50m. The height of 10 double-decker buses.

Unless your link has decoupled itself, it says 30ft high. Which is quite something. But not decadeckarian.

The link has definately changed. It originally said 50m / 167ft. It now makes a lot more sense. The web page shows it was updated just 2 hours ago

Re: Shrubzilla
Rhodies can reach 30 metres (around 66 feet) in parts of India, but not in the UK as far as I know. 30 feet would be about the max.
