There are other sites where the adverts are very irritating. My local newspaper website is a case in point. Full-screen adverts appear in front of news articles, if not full-screen adverts then banners that take a quarter of the screen and videos stop part-way through to give an advert. And it can slow down my computer. But there is no option to pay for no adverts, if only there was...
uBlock Origin is possibly the best adblocker out there and is available for most (all?) web browsers.
Once you've installed it it keeps itself up to date with the many new sources of ads that appear every week and you just don't have to think about it any more.
Wish there was something like it for the TV
