Stig of the Dump

Postby Snorvey » July 13th, 2018, 2:53 pm

Clive King, the author of the book 'Stig of the Dump' has died.

Now that brings back memories. I might have to go and have a read it of it again. For old time's sake. ... s-aged-94/

That was one of the first proper books I read as a child and I thought I loved it at the time.

When I tried to reread it a couple of years ago I thought it was dirge and ditched it after 30-odd pages.

Sorry to hear this.
I remember reading the book to our children when they were little and they loved it.
Its right up there with Winnie the poo and Thomas the Tank.
