We've got a number of part used bottles of sunscreen that are years old. Mrs S has decided that we need to dispose of them but how?
She'd rather we recycled, but as far as I can see we have to just put them in the black sack for landfill.
Thoughts?

Re: Disposing of sunscreen?
Some sunscreen is water soluable so can be flushed down the sink. The plastic bottles can be rinsed out and placed in with your other recycle stuff.
Our local council has a list of unusual things and how to dispose on their website.
Most councils have a help line if you want to ring.
Alternatively take them to the nearest Asda or Tesco and give them to the chemist to dispose of.

I never thought to test for water solubility. I'll have to experiment.
Thanks
