If you look at the header notice at the start of http://www.digitallook.com, it says that "As a first step in the transition to the new site, over coming days and weeks the news and data pages on Digitallook.com will redirect you towards the new website ...". That says pretty clearly to me that moving stuff to the new site is something they're doing in stages, so it seems likely that moving existing portfolios is simply a stage they haven't reached yet. And as it isn't moving news, nor moving data in the sense I think they mean (*), it's probably some way off yet.

Hopefully that makes more sense of what's happening.

(*) Moving any information is moving data as a computer scientist would see it, but I think they are using it in a more restricted sense of moving information about investments.

Thanks for your input Gengulphus. Hopefully that is the case. I have changed my email address since our move to Orkney, so that may not have helped. I'm sure it'll all work out.

Ian.

Further to my previous links to access your Portfolio and Watchlists, I have found some new links that may be of interest.

First, the original Digitallook home page can now be found alive and well at http://finance.digitallook.com

Second, the overview of your portfolio and/or watchlist valuation(s) is at http://finance.digitallook.com/portfoli ... _investing

All the original DL format share pages can be seen by adding 'finance.' to the beginning of their url. In fact, if you open your portfolio or watchlist with these revised links (or sign in at finance.digitallook.com) you will goto to the DL quotes pages instead of the WebFG one when you click on any share quote link in your portfolio/watchlist.

Portfolio: http://finance.digitallook.com/cgi-bin/ ... rname=&ac=

Watchlist: http://finance.digitallook.com/cgi-bin/ ... =valuation

If at any time you find yourself being redirected to a WebFG equivalent page when you click a link, click 'Back' to the page you came from and make sure its url starts with finance... rather than www....
