Has anyone loaded a different internet browser onto an iPad, rather than the one it comes with?
Any problems?
I was interested in loading Brave browser.

Re: iPad internet browser
I loaded Chrome onto my old Ipad
no problems
but I have just settled for using Safari (as supplied) with new model...
just lazy guess but no chrome link means no chance to pinch things from my main home system
(not that I would know how but...)

Re: iPad internet browser
Edge, but that was to be able to access the passwords I had stored in Edge on my desktop and laptop. However now with the new iCloud password extension for Chrome that works in Edge it is redundant - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... enhhabjlaj
I assume you are thinking of using Brave for blocking adverts. Personally I find a combination of an adblocker in Safari and the iPad connected through PiHole sufficient to do that, and prefer the features in Safari.
