Lemonetiquette
Does anyone know whether the correct form of initial address at a social is:
Hello, you look like a Fool!
as it always was, or is it now:
Hello, you look like a Lemon?
Is there any greater/lower liklihood of aggression?
Regards,
Chris

I think we should. We already have the artwork courtesy of your good self. I'm happy to chip in for a coveted Pointless Trophy/Daily Politics Mug/Lemon Fool-Fridge-Magnet-Badge. Gotta be better than a punch in the eye from an innocent offended bystander.

There is of course a certain brilliance to this suggeston. But only of course if there is some potential attraction to/from the squeezee were he/she not actually a Lemon Fool. There needs to be an option, I feel, to test the waters without giving the impression that you're on-the-pull.

We could all carry lemons. Then recycle them into our G&Ts

Re: Lemonetiquette
If meeting in a """proper"" Pub, I would prefer proper cask ale, lemon might make it taste funny !
A simple , modest sized badge might be a good solution,
Any LemonFool looking for another should spot a small lemon badge, so it does not have to be 6" in diameter.
Anyone up for a meeting in the Inverness-Elgin area ?

Of course, the one I linked to is for an Edinburgh Social so perhaps you should start a new Topic!

I've still got a few TMF fridge magnets in original packaging. Worth £££s on eBay one day I reckon. Not.

Re: Lemonetiquette
So lets get this right.
There's a bunch of people, who sometimes haven't met each other before.
They all have nicknames and that's what they know each other by.
"Hello StrangeOne, I'm "fartybottom." "Oh, so that's what "BigBoysToys" looks like." "Whostock?"
And they might all be wearing lemon badges, as a recognition aid.
What a weird setup.
Have to see if I can get along to one.

Great NmNh! We'll all have to dress up as lemons though - what an odd bunch we'll look.

Hello csearle,
The question has arisen elsewhere as to how you put the in your OP. Will all be revealed at a future social?
